The box is able to support Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol this is used to give dynamic addresses to a personal computer whenever it is physically connected to a network.You will be allocated any free internet protocol address and then renewed back into an availability pool when it is no longer required. Every computer needs to have its own personal internet protocol address if they are to run on the same network so Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol allows network connections to be made automatically without the IP address conflicts that you would find if the computers all had the same static address.
